Special order items are non-cancelable.
Special order lead time seen on the description of our items are ESTIMATIONS, the lead time might change depending on supplier's stock level, availability and carrier problems.
Returns or exchanging of parts:
1. We do not accept returns on products at all. The reason for this is, due to the nature of the product that could easily be half used and we wouldn't completely know, or the product inside gallons could of been thinned out, or even not the original product shipped to you.
Canceling an order:
We only allow orders that have not shipped yet to be canceled(And not in the above exclusions). To cancel an order please email firstname.lastname@example.org with your full name, order ID, reason for canceling, and the part or parts you want to cancel. A fee will apply to order cancellations, typically these are charges a vendor may charge us for canceling an order. Fee's range from 6%-25% of the original price which is what it costs us to process your original transaction.
Credit card company's get their money no matter what, so if you want to cancel there is a fee and that fee is what they take on the transaction which is 3%. Then we charge 3% for our time to process and do that accounting work, for a total of 6% minimum on cancellations.
We believe this is fair since you clicked on the order button and typed your information in as we have to pay the staff to process these cancellations. It is your responsibility to ensure the parts you are ordering are correct. You are given a confirmation page with a list of parts before checking out. Any changes to an order can hold it up and cause other complications. If you are unsure about an item please e-mail us or conduct the research you need to be sure it is what you want or need.
Exchange of incorrectly sent products:
Use the standard return procedure to request an RMA for the part you need exchanged (email: email@example.com to let us know). We will personally handle these issues. We will be more than happy to exchange it for you as fast as possible. We will cover all shipping charges in this situation to make it right. We cannot cover 3rd party charges such as labor charges associated with incorrect parts though. Please double check to make sure you received the correct item.
Shipping and Handling:
DipIt.ca is not responsible for products lost or damaged during the shipping process. We ask that you please inspect your shipment upon arrival. Report any damage or shipping related breakage immediately to the shipping company that delivered the item, aka the guy standing there handing you the box. If the box shows signs of possible damage open it right in front of the Carrier's employee and inspect the item. DipIt.ca does not handle any damage requests. Only you can make the claim with the shipping company as that's what the shipping company requires. If you're ordering something that you want insurance on, please contact us and we can add insurance to the item. Items we suggest insurance on are all carbon fiber pieces and other fragile parts.
